Founder & CEO
Dean Spann is the Founder and CEO of Pak, an AI-powered dog care platform built from a deeply personal idea: helping dog owners better understand, support, and connect their dogs. After struggling to find the right playmates for his Shiba Inu, Taiga, Dean taught himself iOS development and began building the first version of Pak himself. What began as a personal project quickly evolved into a larger vision — creating a smarter, more connected experience for modern dog ownership through AI, community, and thoughtful product design. With a background spanning data analytics, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, and product strategy, Dean has built Pak from the ground up with both innovation and empathy at its core. He holds a Master's degree in Technology Entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland and has over 10 years of experience in data analytics, AI, and machine learning.
